Hello All,
It's that time of year again....fundraising time for The Annual Hemophilia Walk to be held on Saturday, August 27th, 2011. This year we are offering several different, fun and easy ways for you to support the boys' team, Jared & Jaime's Afterburners, as well as potentially get a little something in return. As you all know Jared and Jaime have Hemophilia A. Jared was diagnosed at age 3 1/2 and Jaime was diagnosed in-utero. This is a life-long bleeding disorder, at this time there is no cure and the treatment is extremely expensive. Jared and Jaime get IV Medications to treat their hemophilia, whether they are bruises, vaccines, cuts...surgeries (for Jaime), dentist visits...and so on. Each IV dose of medication, called Factor, costs thousands of dollars. We've seen it as high as $8000 for just ONE dose for Jared. We need your help for several reasons, but the two main ones are to search for a cure and to make it cost effective for patients living with hemophilia.
Having said all of that, I'm excited to present to you this year's fundraising options!

2) You can participate in our Thirty-One Product Fundraiser. Everything is 15% off this month. The consultant has offered to match the hostess benefits and donate that money to our team. The more you buy the more our team gets! Additionally, we are holding a drawing for the hostess benefits earned from this event. Tickets are $5 a piece or 5 tickets for $20. Again, the more items bought, the greater the hostess benefits will be, so tell your friends and family to participate, too! This drawing will be held on August 24th, 2011. 3) If you're not into Thirty-One, but would still like to donate and are interested in potentially getting something in return....you can choose option 3. The Northern Ohio Hemophilia Chapter is hosting their own private raffle, this is for a $200 Best Buy Gift Card. Tickets are $5 a piece or 5 for $20. A great deal and a great way to help our cause! The drawing will be held at the Walk on August 27th, 2011, winners do not need to be present to win! I have 100 tickets to sell, let me know how many you'd like! :)
