While we were there yesterday, she humored me and ordered a chest and abdominal series. She asked if he was reherniated again because his "bulge" was high and popped out. The x-ray showed that he was full of poo! Poor guy! So, we've concluded that his incisional hernia must be getting larger by the size and shape of it. We'll be seeing the surgeon (well one of his partners) in December. He didn't eat much on Wed. or Thurs, but did OK yesterday and well today...he ate 2 French toast sticks for breakfast with some apple juice, he ate about 1/4 cup of melons (watermelon, cantaloupe, and honey dew), and for dinner...well see below! Hence the reason Jaime misses Cincy! HA!

Tonight's dinner was the very first time ever that we took Jaime out without any food or drinks of his own. (In fact, I didn't even bring a diaper bag at all!) We knew he'd eat Skyline and since he learned how to drink through a straw, we got him a kiddie cup of water. Talk about a stellar eating day! :) No, his ears aren't better, he's still tugging on them a lot and whimpers while rubbing them on and off, but like I said, you wouldn't really know he wasn't feeling well. We'll be at the ENT's on Tues, everyone seems to think that tubes are in order, so we'll see!
More later...enjoy your weekend!

Ugh - Jaime, Jaime, Jaime - there are better ways to get attention. How is he hearing? Tubes sometimes do not work well either. My oldest was an ear infection queen and they put her on a low dose antibiotic for the season and it worked wonders!
ReplyDeleteI hope his eating better means he might be feeling better and the ears are getting better!
