Our weekend started off with Jaime getting 2 Synagis shots (as previously mentioned) and a visit from Uncle Scott. He came to take Jared to his house for a sleep over. He set up a camp for the kids...looked like lots of fun! I'll post pics to Jared's World once I can figure out how to download them from Scott's Face Book. Tom, Jaime and I just hung out at home watching the Opening Ceremony for the 2010 Winter Olympics!
Saturday morning started off really busy! We had not 1, not 2, but 3 RN's in our house at the same time! Why, you ask? Well, because Dale and Majken were here to meet the newest member of our home care team, Darlene! (Welcome, Darlene, we're thrilled to have you on our case!) With having the waiver, we are required to have so many nursing hours covered or we lose them, we hired Darlene to pick up some of those hours! It was a really hard task to interview nurses...not to mention come up with a solid "needs" schedule. I think we've got it down...at least for now! Hoping it all works out!
Sunday, Valentine's Day, was fun! Jared woke us up early with a homemade Valentine Card. Then, the boys gave me a special Valentine's present and Tom made me chocolate covered grapes...my FAVORITE! I had little presents for them, too! It was a fun little gift exchange. Dale and Majken offered to watch the boys for us so that Tom and I could go out on a date...it was the first one in probably a year or so. We went to Steak on a Stone...fun, place! After that we went to Arabica for coffee/tea and dessert. It was nice to be able to go out and not worry about Jaime (I knew, Jared would be fine.) After dinner, my brother and mom came over. She's back in town again...just trying to help get my Grandma's house and affairs in order. She brought presents for the boys. It was nice visiting with her...and Scott, too! After they left, the boys got baths and headed to bed!
So, that about sums up our weekend! Nice and quiet!
We'd like to thank everyone who sent the boys cards and presents this week, they were all so cute and much appreciated!
Here is a slide show of photos we took over the last few days, ENJOY!
