Spreading awareness about Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia was the goal...so hoping we achieved it! A few special things that I did to spread awareness were handing out lots of ribbons and literature (thanks, Elizabeth) to the credit union, Jared's school, local restaurants and physician offices. Also, Jaime's EI therapists and nurses wore their turquoise! Jared brought turquoise awareness stickers to his friends at school and after school we had a mini balloon release in honor/memory of CDH'ers.
We'd like to thank our family, friends and Jared's school faculty for wearing turquoise today in support of Jaime and CDH'ers worldwide! We appreciate your efforts and support! Also, a special "thank you" to Darlene for hanging out all day today, it was great having you celebrate with us! :)
Here is a slide show of pics from our day and we've added some other CDH'ers who "celebrated" today as well! Enjoy! (If anyone wants to add pictures to our slide show of their "turquoise," I'd be happy add them, just email me, I will be putting the "final" slide show on the side of my blog later this week, thanks.)
If you want to watch the pics slower, you can just click on the "show" and view them in Picasa. (Thanks, AJ for showing me this awesome picture site many years ago!)
Enjoy the rest of your week! Tomorrow starts Spring Break for the boys! :)

Love all the turquoise! Most of all Jared's sidewalk sign! :-)
