A Happy 4th!

Jaime got to experience his first fireworks! He LOVED watching them. He was super tired, but stayed up like a trooper to watch. We did end up in the car a little early due to it being so freaking hot...it's still 87 degrees and it's almost midnight! But we were able to see the rest of the firework show from the air conditioned car. In fact, we watched 3 cities firework shows from where we were! It was AWESOME!

We started our day making a "Backyard Beach" for Jared and his friend Keith. The kids had a blast! Then we had a delicious cook-out with yummy dessert, followed by a festival at the ballpark with Paula, Michael, Chloe & Connor. It was a very HOT, fun-filled day!

Here's a slide show of all the pics we took today! Enjoy and Happy 4th!

P.S. Jaime ate 1/4 of his leftover pancake this morning, nothing for lunch and 1 tablespoon of spaghetti rings, 4 oranges, a piece of pineapple and a piece of mango all washed down with organic apple juice for dinner! AND he had a few bites of key lime pie for dessert-all without incident! Can you say, STELLAR? :)
