Day of Life....

I could go on and on about the craziness of Jaime's most recent medical issues, but I've decided that today is a day to rejoice!
August 3rd, 2009....Jaime Trost, Day of Life 110!!!!
We've manage to miss his 100th day of life, so I thought we would "celebrate" Jaime's 110th day of his CDH Fight!
We are so incredibly proud of our little fighter! He has been through soooo much in his 110 days of life (more than most people go through in a lifetime). He is such an "easy" baby, in spite of his CDH complications. He takes each day in stride. His smile is so contagious, sometimes it brings tears to our eyes, to think that we almost lost him on more than one occasion! We can't even imagine our lives without him, it feels like he's always been part of our family. Jared just loves him, too and he is the best big brother ever! We are very proud of him, too as this whole experience hasn't been easy on him either! It's great being a family of four...we wouldn't have it any other way! (OK, maybe we'd appreciate having 2 "healthy" children, but hey, this is our norm and our little boys are perfect to us!)

Then...3 days old, Jaime with Sneaky the mouse...Jaime was a bit smaller than Sneaky.



Now....Jaime at 110 days old in Grandma's infamous tan chair with Sneaky. He's WAY bigger than Sneaky today. In fact, Sneaky is wearing the very first outfit Jaime ever wore, it's a preemie outfit.



Then...Jared meeting Jaime for the very first time.



Now...Jared playing with Jaime on the floor this weekend.



P.S. Jaime did go to the dr. today and there was much discussion with Cincy as well...we'll get into that another time. What I'd like to share about today's visit is the fact that my "little" man weighed in at 11 lbs 4oz!!! Woohoo!!!
