We all had such a busy day, I felt that I should create 2 posts, one for each boy.
Jared had a HUGE day today, it was his last day of school in Cincy. His teacher, Mrs. Devol had a nice party for the kids and each child received a special award. Jared received the "Spelling Star" Award. Way to go, Jared!!!! We sat with Jared's Cincy friend Ruby and her parents. We're hoping to get together with them this summer. I believe the kids will be attending Art Camp together next week-Mindy (Ruby's mom) got Jared in to the camp.
Speaking of camps, this afternoon, I received a call from the Drake Planetarium, where they have a summer Lego camp. Well, Lego camp is $175 for one week at 3 hours a day, the call was from a very nice lady who told me that Jared was signed up for Lego camp July 6th-10th because of an anonymous donor. Thank you to whomever paid for Jared's Lego camp for us! What an awesome surprise!!!! He will LOVE it!
This evening, Jared and I went to Wendy's for dinner with Bev, Anna and Natalie. From there, we went to the store to purchase gift bags for Jared's school friends in Wickliffe. Tom will be taking Jared home to Wickliffe on Thursday so that he can attend his end of the year party with his friends from home! Speaking of his school from home, a HUGE thank you goes to Jared's kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Wollschleger. We recently found out that she put together a fund raiser for us that will be tomorrow (Wednesday) at Beef O' Brady's Restaurant in Eastlake. Thank you to all who attend, your generosity is greatly appreciated!!!
After shopping, we went to the Zip, Zip ice cream store...YUMMY!!!! I got a "funny face" cone and Jared got his obligatory "green" slushy. When we were done with our ice cream treat, we went to Bev's house. The kids had a water balloon fight, then we came home. Jared had a bath and just as he was getting ready for bed, a bad storm started. Let's put it this way, it's 11:30 P.M. and he's still awake. (He's very scared of storms). The storm has died down a bit and now their are flood warnings!
Here are photos from Jared's school and of Anna and Natalie. Enjoy!!!

What a good day for Jared! :-) Lego camp sounds awesome!!!
